Excuse Our Dust
As April approaches, we wanted to take a moment to share a brief update on what’s been happening here at Beacon Center.
As we welcomed the New Year, we encountered an unexpected challenge when a sprinkler pipe broke in our Shelter. This unfortunate incident required us to temporarily relocate everyone to a nearby hotel while we awaited an assessment from the insurance adjuster and Service Master. While the water damage was significant, we are immensely grateful that the situation wasn’t more severe.
Currently, we are in the final stages of cleaning up the aftermath. Three of our apartments have remained operational throughout this process, but we are eagerly working on completing the cleaning and repairs to fully utilize all eight of our apartments once again.
We want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our community for the unwavering support you’ve shown us during this time. Your generosity and kindness have been instrumental in helping us navigate this unexpected challenge.
As we move forward, please know that we remain committed to our mission of providing a safe and supportive environment for those in need. Your continued support enables us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families within our community.
Thank you once again for standing with us.
Warm regards,
Dawn Sikkink
